I’m Emily Quint—author, survivor, advocate, and someone who believes deeply in the healing power of story. My Sunflower Soul is my debut memoir: a reflection on survival, softness, and the strength it takes to begin again. I’ve spent five years working in the mental health field and am currently completing my Master of Social Work. My writing is shaped by lived experience—of mental illness, cancer, partner violence, sexual trauma, and pregnancy loss—and by the unshakable belief that even our most painful truths can lead us home to ourselves. I live in Fergus, Ontario with my husband, Brandon, and our dog, Rosie.
