Dan McQueen is a combat-tested Navy SAR (Search and Rescue) swimmer who lives by the motto "So Others May Live." A lifelong innovator and leader, McQueen has served as an aeronautical engineer on Air Force One, the nation's most iconic aircraft, and later as a U.S. Congressional nominee and Mayor in Texas.
A graduate of Boston University, he brings an elite academic foundation to match his hands-on expertise in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). As the founder of MITI and creator of the AeroTae modular aircraft, McQueen is building the future through the Texas AAM Corridor—a revolutionary skyport network designed to connect cities, boost clean energy transport, and transform how we move.
He is also a Master Martial Artist, a dedicated motorcycle enthusiast, and a passionate musician. Beyond the cockpit and public office, McQueen mentors startups at tech incubators like Capital Factory and Geekdom, helping shape the next generation of aerospace and AI innovators.
