I was told by a fortune teller at a school carnival that I would be an interior designer in the second grade. I attended the University of Tennessee’s College of Architecture and Design and began my career at Nashville based Gresham Smith and Partners. After hoping around a handful of other commercial firms I found my true passion in residential design after launching my own practice in the Spring of 2010. I love what I do so much that I often dream about it. I was named a House Beautiful Next Wave designer in 2016 and a Traditional Home New Trad in 2020 and our work has been published in the Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, Southern Living and many more. Our angle is a fresh take on traditional interiors. I say I was educated in Tennessee but I became a designer in Boston after working in 200 year old brownstones and historic cape side cottages. The experience was truly magical and it has been so much fun to bring that perspective and sense of historic integrity back to my own hometown of Nashville
