Lindsey Stephenson is from North Shields in the North of England lived for a while in Scotland but now lives in Switzerland working at an International School as a MYP Design, IB Computer Science and Robotics teacher.
As well as teaching computer science Lindsey is an author, and unapologetic enthusiast for all things computational. With a passion for turning abstract ideas into tangible creations, she has spent years helping students discover that computer science is not just about code, but about curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving.
This textbook reflects that same spirit. Rather than treating the subject as a collection of dry rules, it invites readers to experiment, design, and think like creators. Lindsey believes that computer science is a powerful tool for shaping ideas into reality—and that anyone willing to explore can learn to wield it.
When not teaching or writing, Lindsey enjoys exploring emerging technologies, tinkering with new projects, and finding fresh ways to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers.
