Catherine Valleroy is the author of the poetry collections Better Look, Better Looking, and the forthcoming Seeing (October2025). Her work explores themes of self-awareness, authenticity, and spiritual growth, inviting readers to join her on a poetic journey of discovery and transformation.
A lifelong writer, Catherine began composing poetry at the age of eight. Over the past two decades, she has devoted herself to shaping a deeply personal and reflective body of work. Her distinctive creative practice, which she calls Catherine’s Poetic Life™, informs not just her writing but her way of living through meditation, dress, cooking, interaction, and expression across all forms of media.
Catherine holds a BA in Political Science with a minor in Communications from SUNY Geneseo (Class of 1987). She lives in Rochester, New York, where she continues to write and develop new works. In addition to her poetry collections, she is currently working on two prose projects: Humble Food and Meditations from the Stone Soup Sangha.
