Joan Suwalsky

Joan Suwalsky, a retired developmental psychologist who spent her research career studying the healthy growth of children and families, is now a happy potter and gardener living in Frederick, Maryland. Her deep interest in Korea was kindled when she and her husband adopted two children from that ancient but very modern land. She strives to introduce the enduring beauty and wisdom of Korean culture to English-speaking children and parents around the world.
