Shalon DeDiablo grew up with a flashlight under her blanket, a stack of horror classics at her side, and a deep admiration for icons like Elvira and Morticia Addams.

She thinks every stormy night is a gift, every creaky floorboard a chance for a new story, and that the Crypt Keeper was one of the great comedians of his time.

But don't mistake her love for the eerie with gloom — Shalon is a bright spirit in emerald green, not black, and she believes the best horror stories are the ones that sneak in laughter between the screams. Her motto? If it makes you shiver and chuckle, it’s probably perfect.
