Angela Loiacono believes that small acts of kindness create a ripple effect that can change the world. As an award-winning author of The Adventures of Kai the Butterfly Why Happiness Greets Me and founder of the A-OK Club, she helps children see themselves as powerful storytellers of kindness, confidence, and connection.

Angela’s passion for literacy and community building comes from her own childhood growing-up in a tight-knit family, where belonging and generosity were a way of life. Angela knows how meaningful everyday moments can be. "Parents and educators are balancing so much, so I focus on simple ways kids can see their actions matter, and that no matter what challenges they face, everything will be A-OK."

A recognized advocate for “Kindness Through Literacy,” Angela was honored by Read Your World for her book donation.

As a champion of multicultural stories, she has donated hundreds of books to children’s hospitals, literacy programs, and families in need, leading by example in her mission to make inspiring, inclusive stories accessible to all.

Angela was also honored as a 2025 Winner of The Golden Wizard Book Prize, renowned as the top children's book awards program globally, dedicated to recognizing brilliance in children’s literature, a Goodreads endorsement and a "GET IT" Kirkus Review accolade.
