Jim Haley spent most of his adult life in the dry cleaning and automobile industries, but he never let go of a dream planted by a teacher long ago: to become a writer. Raised in a small town with a large, loving family, Jim learned the values of simplicity, hard work, and heartfelt storytelling early on.

Right out of high school, he met Jamie—the love of his life. Four years later, they were married and eventually blessed with four wonderful children. As the kids grew and started families of their own, Jim still felt something missing. With Jamie’s constant encouragement, he finally sat down at a keyboard and started typing. Before long, his first book became a reality.

Writing quickly became more than a hobby—it was a calling. Even after the heartbreaking loss of his beloved wife, Jamie, midway through his third novel, Jim found strength in the support of his family and her enduring inspiration to keep going.

Publishing under the pen name Timothy James, Jim released his first two novels: Only Fourteen Days and Life with Danny. Wanting a deeper connection with readers, he now writes under his real name—Jim Haley.
