Andrea De Rosa

Derò lives in Casal di Principe, in the province of Caserta, Italy. He holds a degree in Sports Science and is passionate about both sports and writing. He writes out of passion, but above all out of need — to give voice to what he feels, to tell his story, to let go.

He truly began writing after the birth of his two sons, Lorenzo and Mattia. Lorenzo, the eldest, is a child with autism, and he changed everything. He is the one who made Derò who he is today. Writing became a way to face thoughts, emotions, and questions — and eventually turned into stories to share.

In his books, Derò tells real life — made of family, struggle, and love — as well as stories born from imagination. Some of his works speak directly about his life with Lorenzo, others are the fruit of creativity, but all of them carry a piece of his heart.
