NORBERT CASTRO SR

Norbert Castro Sr. is an author, screenwriter, retired U.S. Postal Service letter carrier, and former recording artist from Guam. After more than thirty-six years in a completely different line of work, Norbert began a powerful second chapter as a storyteller, proving that dreams do not retire — they wait for the courage to be fully realized.

His debut techno-thriller novel, The Silent Coup, expands the world of his award-recognized screenplay D.A.C.H.I.L., a political sci-fi thriller about artificial intelligence, democracy, power, and the fragile line between protection and control. The project has received screenplay recognition, including Semi-Finalist placement at the Los Angeles International Screenplay Contest and Coverfly Red List attention in Sci-Fi Television.

Norbert’s growing body of work includes Help Me Papa!, First Witness, Black Bear Ridge, Lawfully Yours, Minted Lies, and Seven Days on Saipan. His stories often explore family, survival, justice, identity, and ordinary people forced into extraordinary circumstances.

A longtime California resident with deep Bay Area roots, Norbert writes stories with cinematic energy, emotional truth, and the belief that the most meaningful chapters in life can begin later than expected.
