Bilal Gökce

Bilal Gökce, born and raised in Krefeld as the child of Turkish guest workers, is a physicist and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wuppertal, Germany. His extraordinary educational journey—from growing up in a socially disadvantaged neighborhood to achieving a professorship—inspires many young people today, particularly those from non-academic and migrant backgrounds.
