Shruthi Kumar, a recent graduate of Harvard University, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History of Science and in Economics with a minor in Human Evolutionary Biology. She is a founder and social entrepreneur, leading menstrual equity initiatives on Harvard’s campus and founding a student-led nonprofit focused on preventative mental health education. Shruthi is an internationally-recognized public speaker. Most recently, she was awarded the opportunity to be the 2024 Le Baron Russell Briggs Commencement Speaker at Harvard University. Shruthi is also a United Nations Academic Impact Millennium Fellow and currently co-hosts a podcast on menstruation policy with Ms. Magazine.
