Chinyere Ukomadu

Dr. Chinyere Ukomadu is a distinguished professional nurse with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) earned in 2019. With extensive experience as an educator, researcher, and clinician, she has taken significant steps to advance patient and public safety within the healthcare sector. Dr. Ukomadu is the author of “An Educational Module on High Blood Pressure Management and Control,” published by ProQuest, which reflects her commitment to improving health outcomes.

In 2019, Dr. Ukomadu deemed it necessary to dive into global health problems and solutions for quality improvement. She then earned a certificate in Improving Global Health: Focusing on Quality and Safety from Harvard University edX. Dr. Ukomadu has worked in various hospitals/specialties ranging from cardiology, transplant, dialysis, ICU, MIMU, medical-surgical, L&D, OBYN, and pediatrics high acuity. She has held positions as Director (DON) and Alternate Administrator in geriatrics within the healthcare system.

In her Master’s degree, Dr. Ukomadu collaborated with Nursing leaders at (UTMB) the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston, to develop (the DEU Education Unit. It is a preceptorship program for new nurses. Moreover, she has been designated as a Life Member in the Global Directory of Who’s Who for Healthcare Professionals and is a National Society of Leadership and Success member at the Walden University Chapter.

In addition to her nursing achievements, Dr. Ukomadu has entered the financial industry, becoming a certified Life and Health Insurance agent to help families secure their financial futures. Her awards include the ‘Honor Member Award’ and recognition in Cambridge and Strathmore’s Who’s Who.

A dedicated member of the American Nursing Association, Dr. Ukomadu also contributes to American Leaders Digest and various professional organizations. Her multifaceted expertise and commitment to healthcare make her a powerful voice in nursing and financial advocacy.
