Chris Elstner

Chris Elstner is a certified master stonemason and sculptor who has been running a traditional stone workshop in Germany, since 2014. Born in 1977, he blends craftsmanship with artistic passion and a strong background in digital technology.

After earning his high school diploma and completing military service, he studied Bioinformatics, focusing on computer science, databases, genetics, and biology. His career path has included roles in scientific IT support, international product management, sales, and customer service—giving him a broad professional foundation.

Holding the German "Bachelor Professional" master craftsman title, Chris is actively involved in vocational education and training, serving on several examination boards and teaching future stonemasons at national training centers. As a member of Rotary International, he is actively involved in doing good for others and supporting local causes.

Beyond his profession, he is a passionate writer, musician, and visual artist, with hobbies ranging from scuba diving to calligraphy and digital design. His work combines tradition and innovation—bridging the gap between art, craft, and technology.
