Bradley Morrow

Bradley E. Morrow is a native of Renton, Washington who has lived in more than 120 cities, towns, villages—and even a few huts—across the globe. A U.S. Army veteran of the United States Army Honor Guard and Escort to the President, Special Operator, he also founded the Army’s Information Management Office before stepping into a 30+ year career in information technology that carried him from help desk technician to executive leadership.

Along the way, Bradley became fluent not just in systems and infrastructure, but in people—how organizations grow, how cultures fracture, how leadership shapes outcomes, and how quiet decisions echo for decades.

After leaving corporate life, he built the BlackHouse family of ventures, spanning cybersecurity, finance, RV resorts, cigar lounges, restaurants, and publishing. He is the founder of BlackHouse Publishing and the creative force behind each of its imprints, blending entrepreneurship with storytelling, and business with art.

A proud father of two remarkable daughters, Bradley began writing as a form of survival—an outlet for the unseen scars of service, the weight of responsibility, and the complicated gravity of love, memory, and belonging. What started as catharsis slowly became craft.

His work is deeply informed by a broken childhood, by learning resilience early, and by the enduring bonds between himself, his two sisters, and his brother. He writes about family in its full spectrum—the tenderness and the fractures, the loyalty and the distance, the moments that wound and the moments that heal. These threads run quietly through his work: how we carry what we’re given, how we choose what to keep, and how even imperfect families leave permanent fingerprints on the people we become.

Today, his writing spans poetry, prose, fiction, memoir, and children’s literature. He explores leadership and loss, fire and water, forests and campfires, systems and souls. His stories reflect transformation, identity, and the quiet moments that define us—often weaving lived experience with lyrical reflection. His voice carries both grit and tenderness, shaped by travel, service, parenthood, and decades spent navigating both boardrooms and back roads.

Bradley believes deeply in immersive experience—in building places and stories where adults rediscover play, connection, and meaning. Whether he’s crafting a poem, designing a cigar lounge, or shaping a narrative universe, his work centers on presence: showing up fully, listening closely, and leaving things better than he found them.

He prefers “Bradley,” though he’s collected more nicknames than addresses—each with its own story.
