MEROM TOLEDANO

Merom Toledano is an Israeli-Canadian author of Andalusian heritage, born in Israel and now living in Winnipeg, Canada. A lifelong student of history, language, and culture, his writing blends historical fiction with elements of magical realism, often exploring themes of identity, exile, memory, and resistance. With a background in poetry and storytelling, Toledano crafts narratives that bridge continents and centuries, rooted in emotional truth and historical depth.

His debut novel, The Chronos of Andalucía, is the first in an epic historical fantasy series that reimagines the late 15th century through a cast of characters caught between fate and rebellion. Drawing on rich cultural histories and a passion for forgotten voices, he seeks to illuminate the struggles and resilience of those too often left out of the historical record.

When he’s not writing, Toledano devotes himself to fatherhood, reflection, and the pursuit of meaning through words.
