With over a decade of experience teaching English Language Arts and Social Studies, she brings the classroom to life through rich, standards-aligned resources that empower both teachers and students.

Leanne is the founder of Van Valkenburgh Educational Resources, where she creates workbooks, study guides, and creative literary units that blend tradition with innovation. Her published works include graphic organizer workbooks, thematic literature units, and culturally inspired children’s stories rooted in timeless themes.

When she’s not teaching or writing, she’s exploring folklore, traveling to new places, sipping tea, or crafting stories that help students see the world—and themselves—through new lenses.
