I started writing children’s books during one of the most challenging times of my life. My brother, my only sibling, was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Witnessing his bravery and grace through the fight changed me profoundly. He passed away recently and losing him left me feeling completely adrift.

Writing became my anchor, a way to rediscover myself. Through storytelling, I found light in the darkness. I began crafting the kinds of tales that touch the heart, stories filled with wonder, warmth, and quiet strength, the very qualities my brother always cherished.

Bringing books to life is far from easy, but I’ve faced adversity head-on before. I’ve poured that resilience into every step of this journey, embracing the challenges, learning from them, and staying committed to the path ahead. Stories have the power to shape how children view the world, and I firmly believe every child deserves to see themselves reflected in the pages they turn.
