Sheila Renea Smart

Sheila Renea Smart retired as a Licensed Massage Therapist and worked in Nursing/ Medical Field with 30 years of experience in Reston, Virginia ( Fairfax County) the month and year of October 2022. Sheila provided several different modalities for clients and specialized in Medical Treatment for expectant mothers along with Infertility problems for families working closely with Medical Doctors in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, and Washington DC. During her career she was able to work as a College Professor in the State of Virginia, educating future massage therapists with the same dedication she brought to her hands-on practice.

A true lifelong learner and multi-passionate professional, Sheila has also worn many hats—from campground owner and activities coordinator in Bainbridge, Georgia (including a KOA franchise). Whether planning family fun like holiday golf cart parades and water balloon tosses or connecting with people from all walks of life, Sheila’s heart has always been rooted in service, joy, and meaningful connection.

Sheila is currently a Student for the Profession of Lifestyle and Wellness Coaching with Harvard Medical School. In addition, to The Airline Academy/JetBlue University in Orlando, Florida in which she is training to become a Flight Attendant. She proudly considers herself a Lifelong student—always Curious, always Growing.

Writing has been a lifelong dream for Sheila, but it became a reality in March 2025. Her books are written with love, purpose, and a sincere hope to help others Heal, Grow, and Thrive. She’s just getting started, with many more titles planned to inspire and uplift readers and their families.

Sheila and her Black Labrador Bodhi currently resides in Roanoke, Virginia which is in Southwest Virginia within the Blue Ridge Mountains.
