Warren Robinson

Warren graduated college in June 1967 with dreams of attending law school, but a conflict halfway around the world, the war in Vietnam, intervened. He volunteered to have his name placed on top of the draft list so another young man would not have to take his place. Warren served in the Vietnam War for one year with the 1st Infantry Division and was awarded two Bronze Star Medals. Soon after returning home, his father died and Warren felt obligated to assume his father's leadership role as President, Chairman, and CEO of Bank of Lenox. Waren Served in that capacity for the next 41 years. After he retired, his wife, Margaret insisted that he write some of the stories for his children about the War. He reluctantly agreed and soon, the first book, Remembering Vietnam...A Veteran's Story was published. Warren has served his community in many roles, including as an elected County Commissioner, Industrial Authority Chairman, Sunday School Teacher, Rotary Club Member, and husband.
