Ramyaa Kri

Ramyaa Kri never set out to become a writer—she just wanted to understand why everything hurt so much.

For as long as she can remember, she carried her pain in silence. There were no friends to turn to, no safe spaces to share how she really felt. She learned early to hide her emotions, to act okay even when she wasn’t. Not because she wanted to—but because the world never made room for her truth. For a long time, she believed the heaviness was her fault—that something inside her was broken.

But slowly, through quiet moments and honest reflection, she began to realize: it wasn’t her. It was trauma. It was unspoken wounds. It was the weight of being unseen in a world that doesn’t always know how to hold pain gently.

Discovering trauma-informed care changed everything. It gave her the words she never had. It helped her understand her own story—and offered her the healing she didn’t know she deserved. It didn’t fix everything overnight, but it helped her begin. And that beginning became a path she now walks with others.

Ramyaa writes not to teach, but to connect. Her work is a soft place to land for those who have felt alone too long. She writes for the ones who’ve kept their pain hidden, and for the quiet hearts who are still trying to make sense of their story. Through her books, she hopes to offer what she once needed most: a voice that says, you’re not broken, and you’re not alone.
