Deborah Ross-Attas

Deb Attas, an award winning educator in Toronto for over 40 years, loves to write stories for children. Deb’s three sons although grown today are often included in her writing as she is inspired by their curiosity and the mischief they found themselves in over the years. Deb currently organizes a literacy organization called Booster Reading and volunteers in the same program that helps students become confident readers. A specialist in children’s social skills, she has lectured and work shopped teachers, ECE’s and parent groups. When she isn’t teaching or writing you can find her spending time with her 4 grandchildren and 3 grand dogs, taking art lessons, going on long neighbourhood walks and dancing up a storm in her Dance Fit classes.
