T.L. Aurely is a creative family duo on a mission to nurture a lifelong love of learning through stories that spark curiosity and joy.

At the heart of this pen name is an experienced educator with over 13 years of classroom teaching, curriculum development, and tutoring expertise. Her journey began in college as an award-winning math tutor — a role that ignited her passion for teaching and ultimately led to degrees in mathematics and a master’s in teaching from the University of Washington.

Rooted in the belief that learning should feel like an adventure, her philosophy is simple yet profound: "When children enjoy what they’re learning, they naturally invest their time, energy, and heart into it."

That same joyful approach now fuels every book and companion resource published under the T.L. Aurely name. With a focus on storytelling, emotional learning, and playful engagement, these books are crafted not only for young readers but also for the parents and teachers who guide them.

Most recently, T.L. Aurely published The Ripple Riddle, the debut title in the Heartprints & Hiccups series — a beautifully illustrated story that explores kindness, curiosity, and how even the smallest actions can make waves.
