Alyssa K. Mcgonagle

Dr. Alyssa K. McGonagle is an Associate Professor of Psychological and Organizational Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr. McGonagle’s research focuses on worker health, safety, inclusion, and well-being. Dr. McGonagle has been awarded funding for her research from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, the Institute of Coaching, the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, and the SIOP Foundation, and she has published her research in various prestigious outlets, including the Journal of Applied Psychology and the Harvard Business Review. Dr. McGonagle is also an Associate Editor for the journal Occupational Health Science, is co-Chair of the nationwide Healthy Work Design and Well-Being Council, and is Program Director for the Industrial-Organizational Psychology Master’s degree program at UNC Charlotte. She often speaks to organizations on topics of employee well-being and inclusion.
