I was born in Bulgaria, a country with a rich history and strong traditions. Though my time there was brief, the roots of my story begin in that corner of Eastern Europe. As a child, I immigrated to South Africa, where I was adopted by a South African family who gave me not only a new home, but a new life and identity. Growing up in South Africa shaped me deeply—its culture, landscapes, and people became the backdrop of my upbringing, and I came to think of myself as South African in every way that mattered.

I spent my formative years in Cape Town, where I completed my schooling. After graduation, driven by a sense of adventure and a desire to challenge myself, I joined the army. I served for three years, an experience that taught me discipline, resilience, and the value of teamwork under pressure.

After my time in the army, I transitioned to the Air Force, where I’ve been serving as a helicopter pilot. It’s a role that keeps me sharp, both physically and mentally, and allows me to serve my country in a way that is both challenging and fulfilling.

While my professional life is centered around aviation and military service, I’ve always had a passion for storytelling. In my spare time, I write—sometimes just fragments, other times full stories. Writing has been a way for me to reflect, to explore, and to connect with ideas beyond the boundaries of my daily life. It’s a hobby that brings balance, offering a quiet counterpoint to the high-intensity world of flying.

Outside of writing, I lead an active lifestyle and enjoy a variety of sports. Surfing, airsoft, running, and cycling are all part of how I stay energized and focused. Each of these pursuits challenges me in different ways—whether it’s the calm intensity of catching a wave or the strategy and teamwork of airsoft. I also have a deep love for travel. Exploring new countries, cultures, and environments not only satisfies my curiosity but also inspires much of my creative work.

Looking back, my life has been a journey across countries, cultures, and careers. From Bulgaria to South Africa, from the army to the skies, I’ve learned to adapt, to persevere, and to embrace both the discipline of service and the freedom of creativity.
