Douglas Cameron Borthwick

Douglas C. Borthwick spent thirty years trading global currencies at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, and Standard Chartered before making financial history at INX, where he brought the world's first SEC-registered security token IPO through 950 days of review to a close in 2021, raising capital from more than 7,300 investors across 74 countries.

Today he is Founder and CEO of Skye Meta, Founder and CEO of The Insumer Model, and Co-Founder and CEO of TokenCapStack. The Insumer Model is his framework for turning customers into stakeholders through tokenized ownership.

He is the author of eight books, including The Insumer Model, Your Equity in Your Pocket, Bitcoin: The Capital Singularity, and Tokenized Tomorrow, and co-hosts the Old Men, New Money podcast. He holds a BS from Carnegie Mellon and an MBA from Yale, and has appeared on Bloomberg, CNBC, and Fox Business.
