Tryan L. McMickens

Dr. Tryan L. McMickens is a native of Canton, Georgia. He became the first person in his family to attend and graduate from college; he earned degrees from an HBCU, a master's comprehensive university, and an Ivy League University. McMickens is currently a professor of higher education at North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina.
