The Adventures of Bob & Jim follows two curious horses who escape their farm and dive headfirst into whimsical, human-style adventures with their friends. From snowball fights to summer picnics, they explore the world beyond the pasture—only to discover that there's no place like home. In the end, they’re grateful to be horses and back at Blue Bill Farms.

The inspiration for writing about Bob & Jim's adventures came from routine discussions with my young daughter about what animals would do if they could talk and explore human adventures. After driving by a local farm with horses almost every day and making up stories about them, Bob & Jim were born. The characters were also inspired by my experiences from growing up on a hobby farm where I rode horse and enjoyed being surrounded by animals & nature. The current series celebrates the four seasons, inspired by real-life moments and local experiences from Minnesota.

Our mission is simple: to add color, laughter, and curiosity into kids’ lives—one page, one product, one adventure at a time. Through our books, activity kits, and seasonal experiences, our goal is to spark imagination and celebrate the joy of growing up.
