Karteek Manchala is an automotive engineer with a strong love for storytelling. He wrote Bhoomi Tantra – The Ways of Soil, a collection of short stories that encourages readers to see soil not just as dirt, but as a nurturing, life-giving mother. By blending science with imagination, Karteek inspires a deeper appreciation for the world beneath our feet.
His second book, Panchatantra 2.0 – Fables for the Modern Times, published by Scholastic India, reimagines the timeless Panchatantra tales for today’s young readers. Set in the modern-day Nallamalla Forest, these playful stories follow the forest animals as they navigate elections, ballots, leadership, and the humorous chaos that follows.
His day begins with yoga and meditation, practices that help him navigate life's challenges with calm and clarity. He lives in the Metro Detroit area with his wife, Pranavi, and their daughter, Keerthika. Outside of his professional and creative pursuits, he enjoys gardening, volunteering, and spending quality time with his family.
