Nita Spears

Nita Spears created these books from her short story collection as told to her great-grandson, Nico.

Her stories illustrate the Adventures of Nico and his imaginary Walrus-Dog friend, Charlie. She delights in finding new ways to share how Nico experiences the world with his wild and magical imagination. Nita has worked with children in her daycare for over 50 years. She hopes her grandchildren and other children will enjoy them for years to come.

She is lovingly called Lala, Nana, NanNan, and GrandNan.
