Marcos Altable Pérez (Santander) is a neurologist, scientific communicator, and writer. He earned his degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2000 and specialized in neurology in his hometown. Throughout his extensive clinical and scientific career, he has authored over 200 articles and several medical books, and has served as a peer reviewer for leading international scientific publishers such as Nature and Elsevier.
He combines his medical work with a growing literary vocation, particularly in the field of fiction. His writing explores the boundaries of perception, consciousness, and reality—topics he approaches through his deep understanding of the human mind and from a multidisciplinary perspective that blends narrative, science, and philosophy.
Although new to fiction writing, he passionately engages in several literary projects while continuing to care for his patients and pursue scientific research.
He currently lives in Ceuta, Spain, where he practices medicine, conducts research, and writes.
