T.L. Johnson writes atmospheric fiction about love, loss, resilience, and the quiet ache of being human. Her work spans modern gothic romance, romantic suspense, literary fiction, and romantic fantasy, often exploring tenderness under pressure, the danger of being known, and the storms people survive long after they pass.

A Mississippi native who has called West Virginia home for more than a decade, she draws inspiration from her Southern roots, moody Appalachian landscapes, gray days, and midnight thoughts. She is also a pharmacist, poet, and the founder of Midnight Haven Books, a mobile indie bookshop championing independent authors across genres. When she is not writing, reading, working night shift, or hauling books across West Virginia, she is usually at home with her family, overthinking fictional people, listening to the crackle of wooden wick candles, and being ruled by cats who have mistaken the household for their kingdom.
