"I thoroughly enjoyed your book. I didn't want it to end and can't wait to read the next one. Your writing is excellent. The detailed descriptions really brought the scenes alive. I feel like I got to experience what you described so well. And the dialogues are so rich. I marveled at your detailed recollections of the many conversations and scenarios. Your time in Ann Arbor was such a powerful time in your life. The people you met and the opportunities you had to develop your skills, knowledge and confidence. Professor Mann was such a powerful mentor for you. He and his wife really took you in and believed in you. Of course, I particularly enjoyed your first meeting with Baba. Talk about a life changing event! You've had an extraordinary life, Larry. I'm so glad you took the time and made the enormous effort to make your stories available to us. I feel like I know you so much better now. Bravo! With love and respect,"

"I have a few ways I liked this book! For one, I spent so much time in all the locations he mentioned (Neptune, Freehold, Brookdale, etc.). As a history major I especially appreciated the way Larry balanced what was going on in the world [in the 1950s and 60s,] and how it affected him. But I think what I enjoyed the most is that usually in an autobiography, the author will make themselves out to be the hero. I thought Larry did an amazing job of showing his vulnerability and growth over the course of the book. At first his father could push him to do certain things and then later he realized that he had to follow his own path. And how he spoke to his father toward the end of the book landed because he laid the groundwork earlier in the book. Hope this makes sense and is the kind of feedback that is helpful. Looking forward to the sequel."

"Thank you for sending Larry's new book! I read it immediately and enjoyed it thoroughly. It's amazing that Larry became so self-reflective at such a young age. How did he know the questions? The writing style made it so easy to read. I plan to share it with my friends and family."
