Andrew Ferns

Andrew is a Canadian filmmaker, writer, and producer with a diverse career spanning film, television and literature. A graduate of Dalhousie University and Mount Royal University, Andrew’s work bridges the creative and production sides of the industry, offering a unique perspective to his storytelling. Producer credits include award-winning projects such as Captain Cook: Obsession & Discovery; Darwin’s Brave New World; and the feature film Painkillers. He has created bespoke content, like the Monumental Canadians web series for Valour Canada and for the Calgary Stampede. He has worked for The Walt Disney Company, HBO and NBCUniversal overseeing Production Health & Safety on titles like Big Sky, The Fall Guy & The Last of Us. His debut novel, Disappear: Into Shadow demonstrated his talent to craf suspenseful, character-driven narratives. In his latest book, Andrew continues to immerse readers in a world of intricate storytelling, where complex characters and high-stakes tension collide.
