Dee Daniels

Dee Daniels is a media architect, former journalist, and serial tech entrepreneur from Chicago. With a career spanning traditional journalism and cutting-edge technology, Dee has held key roles at major news organizations, including serving as a reporter for the Chicago Tribune. She later launched her own publication, Noir Women, which led to a groundbreaking women's news partnership with the Chicago Sun-Times.

Through her work, Dee has interviewed a wide range of influential figures, including Michelle Obama and Delores Jordan, the mother of basketball icon Michael Jordan. She also introduced a popular interview series titled The Male Room, featuring compelling conversations with notable men, including businessman and motivational speaker Christopher Gardner—whose life story inspired the film The Pursuit of Happyness, starring Will Smith. Over the years, Dee has conducted interviews with a variety of celebrities, cultural influencers, and thought leaders.

Her broadcast career includes on-air and producer roles at Chicago’s WEJM and WNUA-FM radio stations. She also played a senior leadership role at a major podcast brand during the formative years of the medium, overseeing live-stream internet radio, podcast programming, and on-demand content for hosts and network developers around the world. Her decade-long impact helped shape the global evolution of podcasting.

Building on her media experience, Dee became a tech founder, launching World Broadcast Network TV and Women’s Broadcast Network—live-streaming OTT platforms available on Apple TV, Roku TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Android TV. A pioneer in digital innovation, Dee has led several media and technology startups.

She is also the founder of Assignment Desk AI, an AI-powered platform designed to support media professionals and content creators with tools for production, storytelling, and audience engagement.

Dee continues to champion opportunities for women and girls in technology. She is the founder of Women’s Network News, a global news app spotlighting women leaders, changemakers, and trendsetters.
