Oreta M. Samples DHSc MPH BS AAS RVT

As a licensed veterinary technician of 31 years experience, Oreta enjoys writing, painting (acrylics and water color) and reading. She has been affiliated with the Dept. of Veterinary Science at Fort Valley State University for a total of 33 years having attended school at the same institution where she completed both an AAS and a BS in Veterinary Technology. She currently is the Program Coordinator for the MPH program which is housed in the same department at her alma mater as her beloved vet tech program. She shares her life with many friends and an assortment of 5 fur-babies. A committed writer, she has enjoyed success writing journal articles as well as a laboratory manual for veterinary technicians and recently along with three colleagues published an encyclopedia entitled The one Health Model as Applied to Zoonotic Diseases.
