Nicolene Luff

Nicolene was born and raised in South Africa.

She developed a passion for languages, poetry, and writing early on. When she moved to the United States and learned about the limited Afrikaans learning resources that were available, it sparked in her the vision of creating reading materials in Afrikaans. She has a passion for ensuring that her beloved language lives on in the people who speak it and teach it to the next generations.

So, she became a self-publisher of her Afrikaans books and also started up her online store, South African Treasures, that sells all things with a South African theme.

Looking ahead, Nicolene aims to see her Afrikaans books distributed all over the world, continually seeking ways to keep Afrikaans alive!
