Sarah H. Pollock

Sarah H. Pollock is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. She earned her PhD in Sociology in 2015 from Temple University, specializing in gender and sexualities. Her dissertation research examined the gendered embodiment of health and fitness. She also has been a lecturer at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she won the 2019 College of Liberal Arts Award for Outstanding Teaching by a Full-Time Lecturer. She also won the Texas A&M University-San Antonio College of Arts and Sciences Award for Excellence in Teaching by a Nontenure Line Faculty in 2023.
