John Pasquini

My journey has been one of intellectual curiosity, spiritual exploration, and a deep-seated desire to serve. It began in the sun-drenched campuses of California, where I pursued a Bachelor of Arts, initially at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 1982 to 1985. My passion for the foundational questions of existence led me to St. John’s College in California in 1987, where I completed my degree, immersing myself in the Great Books and the enduring dialogues of Western thought.

However, a different calling resonated within me, leading me to St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Florida. There, I embarked on a rigorous path of theological study, culminating in a Master of Arts in Philosophy-Humanities in 1997, achieved Summa cum Laude as Valedictorian. The pursuit of understanding the human condition and its relationship with the divine continued with a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Theology & Counseling in 1998, again graduating Magna cum Laude as Valedictorian. My commitment to academic excellence was further solidified with a Doctor of Theology (by dissertation) from Providence Theological School Seminary in 2015.

Alongside my academic pursuits, I earned a Florida Professional Teacher Certificate, #641446, in English and Social Science, reflecting my commitment to education and the transmission of knowledge.

My professional life has been diverse and multifaceted. I began as a School Teacher at St. Clare Catholic School in North Palm Beach, Florida, from 1988 to 1993, where I taught English Grammar, laying the groundwork for clear communication and critical thinking.

The Diocese of Palm Beach became my home for over two decades, from 1998 to 2019. During this time, I served in various roles, including Administrator, Parochial Vicar, Pastor, and Social Worker, navigating the complexities of human needs and spiritual guidance. I also functioned as a Systematic Theologian, delving into the intricacies of theological doctrines and their application to contemporary life. From 1998 to 2010, I served as a Bioethics Philosophy Consultant, grappling with the ethical dilemmas posed by advancements in medicine and technology.

My academic contributions extended to higher education as an Adjunct faculty member at Ave Maria University in Naples, Florida, in 2004. I also served as Editor-in-Chief and Acquisitions Editor for S of C Jesuit Publications from 2006 to 2009, shaping the landscape of religious literature. My voice reached a wider audience as a Columnist for the Florida Catholic from 2001 to 2015, sharing insights and reflections on faith and society.

In 2022, I transitioned into a new realm, working as a Copy Editor, Content Creator, Writer, and Marketing and Research

Coordinator for Exodium, LLC/Exodium News, honing my skills in communication and media.

Currently, I have returned to the classroom, teaching Social Studies (Psychology, Sociology, and Global Perspectives) at Fort Pierce Westwood Academy since 2023, utilizing my Florida Professional Teacher Certificate #641446.

My life, thus far, has been a tapestry woven with threads of philosophy, theology, education, and service. Each experience has shaped my understanding of the world and my place within it, driving me to seek knowledge, to serve others, and to contribute meaningfully to the human conversation.
