Debra Green is national director and founder of Redeeming Our Communities (ROC), a registered charity founded in 2004. For thirty years, she has been bringing organisations together to work towards the goal of social transformation, starting with her home city of Manchester. Since 2004, this work has expanded, and she has acted as a consultant to many other towns and cities with significant results. This has attracted interest from public services and local authorities. In 2012, she received an OBE in recognition of services to community cohesion and was recently appointed a Deputy Lieutenant in Greater Manchester.
Debra is married to Frank. They have four grownup children and seven grandchildren.
Frank and Debra led a church together in South Manchester. She is frequently asked to speak at events and conferences.
Debra is also co-author (with Frank) of City-Changing Prayer, ROC Your World – Changing Communities for Good, Mountain Moving Prayer, and Serve Workbook for Spring Harvest.
