Mr David A Sewell

David Sewell is a passionate artist, designer, and storyteller who brings imagination to life through playful and engaging books. In 1994, he graduated from the Colorado Institute of Art with a degree in Graphic Arts and Photography, where his talent and dedication earned him the prestigious Portfolio Par Excellence award—the highest honor given by the school. His technical skills and creativity also led him to manage the school’s computer labs, further refining his expertise in digital and traditional art.

With a deep love for nature, adventure, and whimsical storytelling, David’s books inspire creativity and joy in children and adults alike. His work captures the excitement of travel, seasonal celebrations, and outdoor exploration, making each page a delightful journey.

When he’s not creating, David enjoys exploring the great outdoors, savoring great food, and traveling to new destinations—especially beachside escapes. He finds his greatest inspiration while spending quality time with his girlfriend, where shared experiences often fuel his stories and artistic expression.
