**Author, Professor, and Advocate for Communication Access and Inclusive Education**
Jennifer Stewart M.S. Ed., is an author, professor, and advocate for communication access and inclusive education. Raised in the Deaf community as the daughter of a Deaf father who was a respected leader in Deaf education, she developed a lifelong passion for language, connection, and understanding.
She holds degrees in American Sign Language, Deaf Studies, and Special Education and has spent her career working in early childhood classrooms, special education programs, and higher education. Through her work, she helps children, families, and educators strengthen communication and build inclusive environments where every child can thrive.
She is the author of *Deaf Like David*, *The Magic of Simple Signing*, and *ASL: A Beginner’s Guide to American Sign Language*. She is also the founder of Signing Courses, where she develops books and educational resources that introduce children and educators to the power of American Sign Language and meaningful communication.
Through her writing and teaching, she is committed to helping children build empathy, confidence, and connection while celebrating the richness of the Deaf community and the power of language.
