Sanyu Ntanda

Hello!

I'm Sanyu, a Ugandan-American children's book author based in Houston, Texas.

I'm grateful to be a storyteller by way of publishing my own children's books.

My family of five characters (Papa, Mama, Jama, Akah and Koko) continuously live in my mind, make me laugh and encourage me to share their experiences with children around the world.

I believe all children deserve to see themselves represented in books and stories, especially African and multicultural children. Through my writing, I aim to celebrate diversity, imagination, and global storytelling.

My goal is to reach an international audience with stories that celebrate representation, family and culture.
