I enjoy living in the grey areas of life, questioning more than understanding, and hoping more than knowing. I love to stand on the cliff's edge and wonder at it all.

I was born in Weymouth, U.K. and have never stopped moving since that day! I studied Anthropology at Durham University and completed my Masters in The Philosophy of Religion at King's College, University of London. I began a Phd and then gave it up to become a teacher. I have spent my working life in Guernsey, London and Singapore.

I now tutor, write full-time and I'm hoping to finish painting all the porcelain my mother left behind after her death - she was the artist in the family.

My sister and I were brought up in a Naval household, learning discipline from our father and creativity from our Argentine mother. Guernsey was our holiday home; we used to come most summers to see our grandparents and family. Trips to the Argentine were less frequent, but life on the farm left its spell, and I return whenever I can. Still, I have chosen Guernsey as my home.
