Emma Hine

Emma Hine is author of the YA historical fiction series The Power of the Wouivre, combining well researched history with magical realism fantasy to create an immersive historical adventure for teens and young (at heart) adults alike. Shortlisted for the 2024 Hammond House International Literary Prize for her poem Sands of Time, her foray into full length novel writing expands on her fascination with time, giving a unique spin on the time travel trope. Emma has a degree in Italian studies which she has drawn on heavily for her debut novel Fiorenza. When not writing, Emma enjoys travelling to historic cities, wandering around old castles and churches, or taking in a musical or two at the theatre.
