ReGina Harvey

ReGina Harvey has been happily married for 33 years to her high school sweetheart. Together, they have three beautiful children and two energetic grandchildren. She is the proud owner of S.M.A.R.T Beginnings Preschool in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and has been working with children since the age of 15. ReGina earned her bachelor’s in education in 2003.

Over her career, ReGina has taught in several school districts across Mississippi. While much of her career focused on kindergarten, she also taught Pre-K 4, first grade, third grade, a first/second multi-age class, and sixth grade. In 2005, she received a master’s in educational literacy, which allowed her to train teachers in reading and writing at the MS Reading Conference, AmeriCorps, and Biloxi Public Schools. ReGina furthered her expertise by earning a Master’s in Dyslexia Therapy in 2017. She is a published author in The Reading Conference Journal, and the Mississippi Press. She has always dreamt of publishing children's literature—she is finally living that dream.
