Steve Gowler

Steve Gowler is Chester D. Tripp Chair in Humanities Emeritus, Berea College, where he taught from 1993 to 2024. HIs articles on nineteenth-century religious thought and literature have appeared in the "New England Quarterly," "Church History," the "Anglican Theological Review," and "Southern Humanities Review." He holds a Ph.D. in the History of Religious Thought from the University of Iowa.
