John Timmerman

John H. Timmerman grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and earned a B.A. in English, Philosophy, and History from Calvin University and a PhD. from Ohio University in 1973. He is a decorated and disabled Vietnam war veteran. He has taught at Ohio University, University of Maryland, Grove City College, and Calvin University. John and his wife Pat were high school sweethearts, and have 4 children and 4 grandchildren. John has published 27 books, 25 short stories, and about 100 articles, many of his works having won major prizes.
