Ralph Chapman was a forensic officer for over 20 years, working for both the City of Pasadena and the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. He began writing books as a hobby, using his extensive knowledge of forensics to add realism and detail to his stories. He also drew inspiration from his love of science fiction and fantasy.
He loved to play online games—leading numerous raids in World of Warcraft—and participated in many Warhammer 40K tabletop tournaments, where he won awards for Best Tactician and Best General, among others.
Unfortunately, Ralph passed away in January of 2023 due to cardiac arrest. He leaves behind his wife Tanya of 23 years, a son, a daughter, and his sister, Lorie. After his death, Tanya has worked to realize his dream of publishing his books.
